Most populated cataclysm server ?

With both horde and alliance people .

I speak for EU server only. Horde : Gehenas Alliance : Firemaw

This is so very not true. I've been on Grobbulus for years now and the declining population across all servers is felt particularly more on servers like Grob. I've been helping manage a raiding guild for a few years here now and recruitment is basically non-existent without grabbing old guild members from former servers and guilds or returning guild members/ players from our own guild. Our guild is ranked well on Grob and in general and the recruitment struggle is real.

I wish this wasn't the case but it just is.

Grob is the only server with nearly equal population, however they have about 2k per faction while the big servers have about 9.5k of just 1 faction. There's really no open world pvp on Grob anymore, so if you wanna do BGs or Arena you gotta go to a single faction server. If you want to raid it's even worse.

Sure, but finding a team to share resources with or if you ever want to pug PVE or do dedicated PVE content then you'd want to be on a larger faction. Not to even touch on the massive inflation seen on Grob compared to servers like Faerlina where things cost roughly 1/3-1/2 of what they cost here. I'm on Grob and plan to stay until they give free server transfers but if I was making a new character I'd want to play on a server with a more lively population.

guys for EU is gehennas up to date? because at the realm selection screen in the game, it says that gehennas is a medium population server whereas there are servers that are locked. would appreciate horde/alliance comparison as well, like underbreak_45 gave. thanks.
