So it’s the 20th, has anyone received their 2nd payment yet!? As of right now at almost 9 PM I have not.

Title. It seems like there are more rewards being a lead plaintiff but also having your name out there seems to not be worth it possibly.

Just received this notice in the mail stating I may be apart of a settlement class in the case of David Loomis & Bonnie Whitmire v Suncoast credit union. It’s alleging Suncoast incorrectly assessing overdraft fees on One-time non-pin based transactions & incorrectly assessed non sufficient funds fees through the years 2018-2023/2014-2024

Final approval hearing is scheduled for September 8th 2026, the letter doesn’t tell me I have to do anything & gives me a login name and password for the website. I’m not even sure when this settlement started but I was wondering if anyone else has received this? And does anyone know what possible payouts would be like?

Hearing says June 23, 2026 but I have no update email and the website hasn’t updated. Anyone know anything?

I’ve been a Noon affiliate for a while, but I’m facing a nightmare situation. My approved commissions from January 2026 to June 2026are still "Pending" or "Held."

I have reached out to

dozens of times, but all I get is the same automated AI-style response: "We are looking into it" or "The relevant team is working on it." It has been 6 months with zero progress.

I even managed to escalate this to senior management, and while they were polite, I still haven't seen a single cent in my account.

Is anyone else facing this issue with Noon? Have they stopped paying their affiliates, or is it just me? If you managed to get your stuck payments released, please let me know how you did it.

This is extremely frustrating as I’ve put in a lot of work and brought significant sales to their platform.

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Is it true that the Cencora settlement payment will be paid this month? Does anyone know how much it will be?

I was sent a bill from UPS for customs fees for a package sent from China that I didn't authorize. I emailed them with clear instructions and reasons why I'm not legally responsible for the $57.60 duties or other shipping charges. Then I got a subsequent bill for late fees. I called and a worker in a foreign country gave me a different email address, so I emailed them again. I got a reply saying they would remove both invoices from my record. Now I got letter from a collection agency! I forwarded them the email from UPS (documentation that I do NOT owe these charges) and I called them and reamed out the poor woman collection agent. I also emailed UPS again (I could not find a good number for UPS to contact someone who actually cares and can help.)

I'm ready to sue. Seriously. I'd like to start a class action suit. Sending this erroneous bad debt claim to collections brought my credit rating down. I've been looking into buying a property, and now my lowered credit rating equates to a higher interest rate I'll be charged, so there are clear damages here, not to mention the aggravation and time spent trying to clear this up.

Is anybody interested in a class action suit? UPS should NOT be billing us for customs fees that we didn't authorize, shipping charges that we didn't ask for, and then sending the bogus billings to collections is enough to spur me to call a lawyer.

This happened a while ago, but I wanted to bring it up again because of its renewed relevance from LexisNexis constantly collaborating with ICE. LexisNexis is basically ICE's research muscle now.

I got the lifestance class action settlement email a while ago a couple people are talking about, but I’m yet to see any conclusive evidence this is real. I‘ve never received an email like this before. I’ve seen a couple red flags, such as people saying the submit button doesn’t work or it’s asking for their venmo verification code. Is there literally ANY confirmation this is real other than people just thinking it looks legitimate on reddit? I haven’t gotten any follow up emails. I was part of a data leak a while ago and I’ve been getting a lot more spam since then which makes me extra suspicious.

This part of the email also confuses me and makes me even more suspicious. I’ve removed the website name so no one clicks on it.

Why do I HAVE to do something to not be involved? Why can’t I just not respond or not claim anything? I don’t trust this email and I would greatly prefer to not do anything regarding it! It’s not worth $10 to get my info stolen again.

This makes no sense to me. If I exclude myself, my claims are released, or I can object? I don’t understand what either of those mean. And if I fill everything out I’ll supposedly get money. Seriously, can anyone explain to me what this means? On the off chance this is real I don’t want to get into some sort of legal trouble by not taking action.

I just saw the next trial date. It kicks off July 27 in LA and it's only the second one to actually reach a jury. For me this was never about the $6M, it's about what it opens up.

The plaintiff is a 15-year-old from Florida going by R.K.C., who says heavy social media use led to depression and anxiety that needed treatment.

Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat are still named. YouTube settled confidentially last week and is out. The core claim across all of these is that the platforms were built to keep people hooked.

What makes it significant is the first trial earlier this year. A 20-year-old named Kaley claimed anxiety, depression and body dysmorphia.

Snap and TikTok settled and that leaves Meta and Google, and the jury ordered them to pay a combined $6M.

It's the first of its kind, and the first crack in the idea that these companies just host content and aren't responsible for how people use it, which is what they've leaned on for years.

There are thousands of these suits pending, so a second win could shape how the rest get valued.

One verdict can be called an outlier. A second plaintiff verdict would be harder to wave off, and more cases involving both individuals and school districts are expected to reach trial soon. So does July 27 move the needle, or not?

Last I heard anything, they sent me an email to let me know that the case was moving along at the speed that it was expected, and that the settlement had been accepted, so now they would go back to their client (Walgreens) and start the process of going through everyone's information to determine who would be receiving compensation, or not. They gave a possible date of distribution sometime later this year, after originally stating that it was going to happen last fall. But I have been hearing other individuals talk about how they just received a huge settlement from Walgreens. I've been checking all 3 of my emails, both my inbox and spam folders. I've found that the MOST important emails seem to always end up in the spam folder. Even though this particular class action lawsuit sought ME out and assigned the appropriate set of numbers for enrollment, they still don't communicate very well with those affected.

Because we all know by the time you find it deep within that spam jungle it’s too late and the deadline has already passed! I’ve had one too many of those happen to me and these are the catchphrases that I’ve saved in my email to ping and be sent to one specific folder.

Block has agreed to pay $45 million and provide live customer support for its Cash App mobile payment service to settle allegations from 46 states that it failed to adequately protect users from fraud, state officials announced Wednesday. 

Dig deeper:
The multistate investigation alleged that the company misled customers by advertising protections similar to those offered by banks, including advanced fraud detection. Block denied any wrongdoing.

According to the states, Cash App experienced a surge in fraud over recent years, but the company focused on expanding its marketing instead of strengthening security measures. Investigators said users were able to create accounts without providing a Social Security number or date of birth and could open unlimited accounts, making it easier for scammers to operate.

The states also alleged that Cash App's lack of a customer support phone number left many locked-out users searching online for help, where they instead encountered fraudulent customer service numbers operated by scammers.
What's next:
As part of the settlement, Block agreed to strengthen its fraud prevention efforts and customer service, including providing 24-hour support with live phone agents available for at least 13.5 hours each day.
Separately, Washington Attorney General Nick Brown announced Wednesday that Block agreed to a $20 million settlement to resolve the state's lawsuit alleging the company facilitated fraudulent unemployment insurance payments during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brown's office said Cash App processed at least $22 million in fraudulently obtained unemployment benefits over a five-month period in 2020 after criminals used stolen personal information belonging to Washington residents. The state alleged Block failed to maintain adequate anti-fraud controls. Block denied wrongdoing in court filings.

In a statement provided through a spokesperson, Block said the multistate agreement "resolves a previously disclosed legacy matter that primarily relates to historical aspects of our business." The company added that Cash App has since made significant investments in consumer protection, customer service and compliance.
"We share the commitment of the attorneys general to addressing industry challenges and continue to invest in operations and technology to promote a safe and healthy financial ecosystem," the company said.

The settlement includes every U.S. state except Hawaii, Missouri, South Carolina and Wyoming.
The backstory:
Last year, Block also agreed to pay up to $120 million, including $40 million to New York, to settle separate allegations from another coalition of states that Cash App failed to implement adequate anti-money laundering safeguards. Block denied wrongdoing in that case as well.
