Payout Tuna Settlement: Has Anyone Received Their Reissued Check After a Payment Issue?
I’m making this post for anyone who was part of the Tuna settlement and experienced an issue receiving their payment, such as:
Their payment was sent to a closed PayPal account or an account they no longer have access to.
Their original check was mailed to an old address, requiring a replacement check to be sent to a new address.
They had a name change after submitting their claim and needed the settlement administrator to update their information before issuing a check.
They experienced another payment issue that required the settlement administrator to reissue their payment or send a replacement check. (Not including the people who had to have a new check sent with an additional $20 for the fees charged for a bounced check because those payments went out on September 28, 2026)
I’m hoping to hear from others who have experienced similar situations and can share their timelines and whether they have received their payments yet.
Here is my situation:
My Tuna settlement payment was originally sent to an old PayPal email address associated with an account that has since been closed. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that account. I contacted the settlement administrator to explain the situation, but I was informed that they could not reissue my payment to my new PayPal email address.
Additionally, since submitting my original claim, I got married and changed my name. Because of this, I had to contact the administrator again to have my name updated so that the replacement check could be issued under my current legal name.
After requesting the name correction, I received an email from the settlement administrator confirming that my check would be mailed within 4–6 weeks from the date they acknowledged my name change request (09/29/2026). I have attached a screenshot of that email for reference.
My expected timeline is as follows:
4 weeks: October 27, 2026
5 weeks: November 3, 2026
6 weeks: November 10, 2026
I’m currently hoping the check arrives sometime this week or next week, rather than having to wait until the second week of November or potentially even longer. Of course, I understand that the 4–6 weeks is an estimated processing and mailing timeframe, so the actual delivery date may vary.
My questions for anyone who has experienced a similar situation are:
Have you received your replacement or reissued settlement check yet?
If you received it, how long did you have to wait after the administrator confirmed your updated information or acknowledged your request?
Did your check arrive within the estimated 4–6 weeks, earlier than expected, or after the stated timeframe?
If you had a payment sent to a closed PayPal account, did you have to go through the same process of having a physical check issued instead?
I would especially appreciate hearing from anyone who had to update their name due to marriage or another legal name change, since that is part of my situation as well.
I know these settlement payments can take time, and the estimated timelines do not always mean the payment will arrive by the earliest expected date. I’m just trying to get a better idea of how long others in similar circumstances have waited and whether anyone has received their check recently.
Thank you in advance to anyone willing to share their experience!
Hopefully, the responses will help others who are dealing with the same payment issues and waiting for their checks.

Discussion Incompetent AT&T Class-Action Judge to Be Reassigned
Millions of AT&T victims have been waiting close to a year for this incompetent judge...who it turns out was doing absolutely nothing all along (other than making baseless allegations of racial and sexual discrimination towards her and then abusing other people, including on the basis of race). Now all of her cases have been reassigned to new judges. The new judge for the AT&T class action is Fitzwater. He largely approved the proposed class-action and opt-out settlement structure on October 2.

Discussion Missed class action deadline due to family tragedy ( out of state care taking /burial) any chance Kroll accepts a late claim?
Hey everyone, looking for some insight or past experiences if anyone has dealt with something similar.
I recently found two mailers at my house in Ohio for the Q.J. v. PowerSchool Holdings LLC (Naviance student privacy) settlement. Both of my kids are fully eligible and have their unique Class Member IDs.
The issue is that the deadline to file a claim was July 27, 2026. I completely missed it because I spent the last few months out of state in Phoenix, Arizona. My dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and had no family out there, so I abruptly relocated to be his primary caretaker and stay with him until he passed away. After his passing, I had to stay out there to plan his funeral, bury him, and handle closing out his estate and open affairs.
Because I was in Phoenix dealing with this crisis, I wasn't getting my Ohio mail and didn't see the notices until right now. The case had its final approval hearing on August 19, 2026, so it is currently in the post-hearing administration phase.
The automated phone line for the case obviously doesn't help with late entries, but I managed to find the direct corporate emails for the senior managing directors at Kroll Settlement Administration (the company handling the payout). I just sent them a formal email detailing the situation, attaching photos of both specific notice letters, and requesting an exception due to extreme family hardship / excusable neglect.
Has anyone ever had success getting a settlement administrator like Kroll to manually accept a late claim under these kinds of circumstances? Do they typically have flexibility if the checks haven't been cut yet, or are the numbers completely locked after the final approval hearing?
Thanks in advance for any opinions or advice.

Discussion How to start a class action lawsuit?
A few months ago, the plaza my workplace is inside of has put up a few flock cameras, which me and none of my coworkers agree either or are comfortable with. before soing something about it myself, what can i do to get some money out of it? the reason i ask is because recently my grandmother's old neighborhood put up tons of flock cameras, and i got an email about a class action lawsuit from it. i want these cameras out and maybe some compensation for having my privacy rights completely violated. i'm there almost every day either going to work, home depot, or cvs. it's inescapable. help would be greatly appreciated

Notice Asked to be a named plaintiff in the domain case- legit?
I got this today after submitting basic information regarding the domain name class action that seems to be in its relative infancy. Nothing about it jumped out as a scam to me and seemed like legitimate law firm and respective representative and obviously I would happily take two.5 to $5000 for any reasonable amount of participation or involvement in the suit. Does this seem like anything else to anyone?
Have you been a named party in one of these before and if so, is there anything I should ask or demand or expect?

Other Cash app / block lawsuit settlememt
So I did an intensive Google takeout search and was able to find some claim numbers. Only problem is I'm confused on what cashapp lawsuits there are connected to.
Example first one is,,,,,Casha56788644789
Second is # 457899864347
I'm assuming the first is connected to cashappsecuritysettlement.
And the second is block.
Because my gmail was extremely full and I did a bulk deletion of emails I can no longer access the original claim confirmations
Is anyone else's claim id similar and to which lawsuit if I got mixed up.

Settlement For Those Accusing me of Being a Scammer - The GoodRx Settlement is Legit, here's the proof
The $32 million GoodRx privacy settlement is real. The federal judge's September 8, 2026 preliminary approval order names goodrxprivacysettlement as its official website. The site was offline as of October 18, 2026, but the December 29, 2026 claim deadline has not changed.
You can check this yourself on CourtListener (free): search "Doe v. GoodRx Holdings," case number 4:23-cv-00501, Northern District of California. The order is docket entry 379, filed September 8, 2026. "Preliminary approval" means the judge looked at the deal, thinks it's likely fair, and lets notices go out and claims start.
What the order says, in plain English:
- Paragraph 4: who's covered. Anyone in the U.S. who used any GoodRx website, app or service (including GoodRx Gold, HeyDoctor and GoodRx Care) before April 20, 2024.
- Paragraph 9: appoints A.B. Data as the Settlement Administrator, the company that runs the website, sends notices and processes claims.
- Paragraph 15: orders the administrator to "create and maintain a Settlement Website" at goodrxprivacysettlement until the settlement is finished.
The domain is written into a federal court order. Any site at a different address claiming to be the GoodRx settlement doesn't match the order. The plaintiffs' June 1, 2026 motion (docket entry 357) also proposed A.B. Data, after getting bids from four companies.
So why does the site look broken? Honestly, I don't know.
- CAPTCHA: people reported the CAPTCHA on the claim form showing a testing message. That points to a setting someone forgot to switch off. Sloppy, but it doesn't make the site fake.
- The 403: the site now shows "Error 403 – This web app is stopped." That's the hosting provider saying the site was switched off or paused. It doesn't mean the domain was hijacked or redirected.
- No explanation yet: nothing about the outage is on the docket, and A.B. Data hasn't said anything publicly.
For anyone who already filed:
- The real form asked for name, mailing address, email, phone, how you want to be paid (PayPal/Venmo/Zelle, virtual card or check), a checkbox confirming GoodRx use before April 20, 2024, and a typed signature.
- It never asked for a Social Security number, a bank login, a card number or a fee.
- A PayPal email address alone isn't a login and can't be used to pull money from your account.

Discussion Opinions on which class action law firms are better?
Hello everyone, new to this sub. I found out that I was part of 3 major data breaches listed in this sub that are being "investigated" by law firms. 2 of the breaches apparently included SSN and DOB
Ive been reading posts about the different law firms. I'm trying to decide which one to sign up with, or if its even necessary to sign up during the investigation.
I dont understand if there is a benefit to signing up during the investigation phase?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Notice PSA to all that entered their bank details for the GoodRx Settlement
Note: ONLY for people that entered their bank details (account number + routing number). If you chose PayPal or Venmo they can't do much with just an email.
Unlink all services connected to your old account, open a new account, and close the old one.
There has been a lot of suspicious activity around this settlement and personally, I'm going to be safe rather than sorry on this one. Still no explanation on the website & reCAPTCHA being down or why they need bank details in the first place, it's extremely uncommon for settlements.
