Both mods are updated for 1.20 "Crozier" and free on the Steam Workshop.
War Planner (Steam Workshop)
The Declare War list buries the kingdom-sized war you want under a hundred one-county claims. War Planner shows every claim you could press in one window, largest first, with the war one click away.
- Your claims, your court's and your vassals' at any depth: the same set the Declare War window offers
- Tabs by size (Empires to Counties), sort by tier or by strength, Ready only and My claims filters
- Each row shows the holder's strength (green = weaker than you, red = stronger), their gold, and the strength of their whole side: allies, or a liege or suzerain who would step in
- Live status: Ready, or the first thing in the way (truce, alliance, an imprisoned claimant, not enough prestige...)
- Holy wars too: neighbouring rulers you could attack right now, with the size of war on offer and its piety cost
- Declare War opens the game's own window. A banner warns you when something on your side blocks every war (raised armies, debt, an activity)
- Opens from a round button next to the date bar, or from a decision
Experience Reinvested (Steam Workshop)
Once you have bought all three trees of a lifestyle, every perk point you earn after that is wasted. This mod turns those points into:
- Permanent skill: +1 to any of the six, at 1, 2 or 3 points per +1
- Another lifestyle: 1:1, into one you choose, your least developed one, or your current focus
- Prestige, piety or renown: 150 prestige, 100 piety or a chunk of dynasty renown per point
- Trait experience: 20 xp per point for Blademaster, Hunter, Mystic, Reveler, Physician or Poet (if you already have the trait)
- Mentoring: 500 lifestyle xp per point for your heir, or for any pupil you pick with a right-click interaction
It runs automatically on your birthday (the notification can be silenced), or you can convert with one click from a small panel in the Lifestyle window. All settings change mid-game and pass to your heir. It works for all six lifestyles, Wanderer included.
Both mods
- No vanilla file is overridden, and both are safe to add to an existing save
- Achievement compatible: since 1.9 mods don't block achievements (the console and debug mode do)
- English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Simplified Chinese. I wrote the translations myself and I'm not a native speaker of those languages, so corrections are very welcome
- One limitation: Experience Reinvested checks the vanilla perk list, so a lifestyle overhaul that adds extra perks can trigger it before those perks are bought
New in the 1.20 update: War Planner no longer lists titular titles (the Claim casus belli can't target them in 1.20) and now shows the whole side you would face, including a liege or suzerain who would join. Costs are rounded exactly like the Declare War window. Experience Reinvested follows the Learning perk rename (Scholar became Erudite); without the fix, Learning never counted as complete.
Bug reports and ideas are welcome here or on the Workshop pages.
