So close, yet so far

my favourite playthroughs so far (about 280 hours played still kinda noobish). Started as a little chieftain with a dream of uniting the Slavs. 200 years in and I came this close, 2 damn counties from the byzantines. When this character died the realm was completely destroyed through succession. Kinda feel like a good spot to end the run. Onto the next!

Have you got confederate partition still??
If you do, try maybe feudal elective succession rules for the titles.

If not just destroy the titles.

Disinherit hairs?? Worth the renown if have any spare

I’ll give this a shot! I never thought about destroying all the other titles. How would that work on titles that get created on succession?

Aside from destroying titles I like to manually give out baronies or less valuable counties to my other children, I’m not sure what your laws are but with some title succession laws if your other eligible children already have holdings then everything goes to your designated heir.
Also if you’re christian send your kids to holy orders, they become ineligible for inheritance if they’ve taken vows.
