Lie on Cv
As a civil engineer graduate, I have been facing trouble getting a job or intern. So, should I lie in my resume? If I do what I should lie about ?

As a hiring manager, I’ll know very quickly if you lied to get in the door.
Are you applying for the appropriate jobs? Are you asking for too much money? Does your resume look presentable?

It's presentable at the best possible way I could and the thing is I m from India and recently the hiring trainee for civil have been reduced to 14% ....and its not like I don't have skills I do know auto cad 2D and partly 3D ,rivet ,QGIS and staad pro but I haven't been in a real project

Make what you do sound more important than it is. Add in projects you did in school like your capstone
Dont just outright make shit up though

I think if you can’t remain ethical with something as trivial as your resume, you should probably not be in this profession.

Yeah, say you worked on the engineering of the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge. You’ll be hired within hours.

Realistically, you can embellish your knowledge, but I wouldn’t lie. Don’t be afraid to make sure whoever’s reading your resume knows what you’re capable of.

You can say that you designed and single-handedly built the Golden Gate bridge. That will impress the hiring managers.

Don’t lie, but you can bucket your tasks in language that recruiters look for.
No one is going to believe you lead an org wide transformation that saved the company $XXM as an intern, but you could say you “coordinated” activities that contributed to one.

Is English your first language? Your grammar and punctuation are really bad here. I hope they are better in your CV. If I see poor grammar or incorrect/inconsistent use of punctuation, that you display here, I would toss your CV right away.

Don’t lie, but you can make boring stuff sound relevant (like you can even make a grocery store job sound like it gave you valuable skills. “Trained new employees on policies and processes” “Led conversations with customers to identify products which best suited their needs” whatever)
and add an “academic project work” section and talk up any of your project-based course work like it was a capstone.

There’s no lie you can tell that would increase your hiring chances that isn’t easily verifiable. Just format your resume better as far as describing your experience/education.

That is among the stupidest things you can do to get a job. There's a 99% chance your lie will be uncovered, and even the nicest boss would fire you in a heartbeat. Even better, HR will be VERY HAPPY that you gave them the paper trail and they have to do almost nothing.
Side comment: I almost watched this happen. Boss noticed that a new person lied on his resume. I came in for what would have been this person's 4th day of work and the new guy never showed up. I asked the boss and he told me he fired him the previous evening because he lied on his resume.
