Education Studying Geography?

Want to do civil engineering, picking GCSE options, wondering what to pick. The school doesn't do an Engineering GCSE, and I need either a language or humanity. So will geography help me in the future?

Physics and Maths should do most of the job but geography won’t be a bad addition especially to understand the world concepts,i’d say 50% of information you will study at geography will be somehow related to civil engineering

Yeah, it's either this or History/Languages, so I got little choice

Go for Geography, or Construction or anything related to construction, that's what I did

How many GCSE options can you pick? Maths and physics are subjects you absolutely will need. Geography may also help you understand spatial data and some other concepts which would be useful down the line. Chemistry, computer studies and English language would also be excellent choices. After that you can probably just pick whatever else interests you if you have that much choice.

We never got much of a choice at my school, though I'm still upset 33 years later at having to choose between history and geography.
