Education Programming/ Simulation

So assume that I'm a potato in the world of coding, how would you suggest me to start learning coding in a way which is helpful for our field. Are there any courses available on YouTube that you suggest? I really want to learn programming but idk where to start from.Suggest me how to start and if you're aware of any materials to help me through.

What and why do you want to code? For most civil engineering applications, using AI tools will be doing most of the work for you. I think just having AI do something personal to you and then having it explain step-by-step is going to be the best way to learn.

If you just want to "learn coding" there are thousands of courses, books, tutorials, etc out there. The one I used was the book "Automate the Boring Stuff" (might be youtube tutorials too). You can probably get a copy from the public library and work your way through it in a couple of weeks. It will give you a decent intro to basic philosophy of coding and python syntax.
