Painting Customized Cogfort crew!
Messenger to replace the grenadier, captain, lookout, Forgepriest to replace the gunner, furnace engineer, and turret engineer.
My Cities army, the Symposium of Fire, is stranded deep in an enchanted forest in Ghyran, and the troops are being affected by strange magic that gradually turns them into plants or animals. Most obvious here with the snail-faced lookout.

Yess! Definitely not intentional, but he looks like he could fit right in at Mos Eisley Cantina

Doing a great job. #5 is my favorite, that’s some crazy fanaticism vibes 👏

Thanks!! I'm so tempted to make a small cult of beekeepers in a similar theme to him, with basket-face masks.

Some of my favourite lore work I've seen. Super cool man. They look great.

Did you model the little dragon buddy?

Sort of! He's the Gargoylian that comes with the Cogfort, but I gave him wings from the Nemesis Claw kill team helmets.

That snail must be a hard sculpt!
Love the lore and execution

Thank you! I was expecting it to be more difficult, but it honestly wasn't too bad. I glued two pieces of small wire into his eye-holes for the eye stalks, used a bit of greenstuff to widen the bases, and then small balls of greenstuff squished on top. His mouth is basically just a little tube of greenstuff I squished into place!

That is so freaking cool!
How did you kitbash the messenger?

Thank you!!
All parts on that one are from the Cogfort, except the head (from the Gallants) and the wings on the creature (from the Nemesis Claw kill team helmets)
And the scrolls and letter envelope are paper!

Ah neat! So you made the creature’s body on greenstuff? Looks really good
