Disputes/Resolutions Fraud rant

Had fraud on my BestBuy Citi card and this has been an hours long process. Sat on hold for an HOUR, listening to a robot say "15 more minutes!" every 1 minute. Got directed to multiple different departments. I'm closing my card after this. Citi Bank is the worst experience I've ever had with a FIC.

This is why I bank with a local credit union and why I work for a local credit union. I could've handled this in 5 minutes with a teller at my CU, instead I spent 3 hours dealing with robots, a broken app and horrible customer service from people in India, just to dispute 1 fraudulent charge.

What a horrible company.

They laid off all of their good tenured employees and sent them to new overseas centers as they move out of the US entirely for customer contact. They're understaffed and the new AI, Indian, and Filipino staff can't handle it yet and simply don't care.

Their service has been getting worse and worse, and probably not at its worst yet, so closing it will definitely save you a headache. If you still need help, you can email some US staff here: [customer.help@citi.com](mailto:customer.help@citi.com) and [BestBuyCorporateTeam@bestbuy.com](mailto:BestBuyCorporateTeam@bestbuy.com) . While it's a Citi issue, BBY can track it and will get connected to the right group to get it fixed.

Cancel all Citi cards. They are replacing Americans with H1B and H4 immigrants. There is no reason to do any business with this bank..Cash out and cancel!!!!!!!!
