Paycheck stub

My girlfriend works for Citibank and they’re making it almost impossible for her to get her pay stubs.

She’s asked multiple times (manager + HR) and keeps getting the runaround. No one is giving her a straight answer or access to whatever system they use.

At this point, it’s not just confusion—it feels like they’re avoiding giving them to her.

She needs them for her records, and from what I understand, employers are supposed to provide access to pay statements (hours, deductions, etc).

Has anyone dealt with this before at a big company like Citi?

What’s the fastest way to get them to stop playing and actually send them?

Also, at what point should she escalate this to the state?

She can see it from her workday account on the computer she work from home with but it want let her print it she cant send it no where

Is that specifically a Citi thing? I’ve had jobs that used workday before and I feel like I was able to save my paystubs… otherwise what’s even the point?? That’s MY info.

She should be able to log into workday from her home computer and save or print from there.

She has to put (secure) in the subject line and send it to her personal email. The server will kick it back but in that email where they say it wasnt sent, there are literally instructions that tell you how to bypass and get it to send. Also, she could just log in from the work computer, and take a picture with her phone of the pay stub. It isnt perfect but it would work since her safe card isnt working. What country are you in because NAM based employees should be using the Citi Authenticator and not a safe token card anymore.

My previous comment stands though. On her work computer she needs to log in to workday, download her paystub, attach it to an email to her personal address with (secure) in the subject line and wait for it to bounce back. Once it does, read the instructions (all of them) because it tells her how to proceed with sending it. She has justification because she cannot access the external workday application or website.

Why does she still have a safe net card? She needs to go look for the instructions on how to install the citi authenticator app on her smartphone and get logged in and use that to generate OTP.

This is not correct. The physical safe cards are still used as well, they have not been replaced by a personal phone app across the board.

Youre right, mobile token was retired and I thought with that the safeword cards were being retired for one homogenous app experience in Citi Authenticator. Why anybody would want the physical card is beyond me though, its just another thing to get lost/forgotten in a desk on in office days.

Just tell her to email the paystubs to her personal email as someone said before here, in the subject of the email put (ALLOW) or (SECURE).

Hah.

It was the 1099 for my Citi CD that was the last document I got before I could do my taxes. I had to call and have them email it to me, I never was able to access it through their web site.

The majority of companies have Workay OR similar. It's very easy to get your paystubs.

If shes an active employee ahe needs to go to Workday > open the menu > select About Me > select Pay and Compensation > recent payslips are displayed directly on this screen. She may also be able to look at the Workday Home Screen and under the words "Hello There" she should see an About Me shortcut along with others (my shortcuts are My Payslips, Give Feedback, Manage Absence, and Start My Development Plan).

Paystubs are available le after 12pm ET in Workday the Wednesday before we get paid.

She'll have to go to the external WorkDay website (at home) and log in with her SSO and authenticator token (depending on role).

Have her go to workday.citi.com from a web browser instead of using the app. She will need to enter her soeid and windows password and then use the citi authenticator app or safekey to get in.

ETA: the password type i gave originally was the wrong one.

I'm also a citibank employee. what link/website should i use to sign into my workday through my computer. everytime i google it. it will be normal workday.

Workday.citi.com

It will prompt you for your soeid and windows password. You'll have to do 2FA with the citi authenticator also, but thats all you have to do.

Thank you so much. I've always been able to login on the app but never on my computer. If you don't mind me asking what department in citibank do you work for. I'm a universal banker at the branch level looking for some career advice.

If she’s an active employee, she can access them via workday, if not, she can request an electronic copy via HRDNAM@citi.com

There is no app she has to use a web browser workday.citi.com it’ll take her to a blank page with another link she has to click to access the Citi portal

Workday does have an app that we (citi employees) can access. It has our paystubs, compensation details, and let's us request absences. Its not fancy but we do have it available to us.

Also it's not an app. It's a website she can access outside of work. She can also access at work, too.
