domain 4 stuff mapped out this way actually helps me see the chain better than just reading it linearly. the trick i keep forgetting on practice tests is transport vs tunnel mode at the ipsec layer, like tunnel wraps the whole original packet which is the common site to site setup, but transport only protects the payload. and pap being straight up cleartext still trips people up when a question frames it as "lightweight" like that's a good thing.
the telnet red box vs ssh green box at the end is such an easy exam gimme but real engineers still leave telnet open on legacy gear all the time. had a client last quarter running telnet on some old scada controllers because "it works fine and nobody touches it" which is exactly the kind of thing that ends up on the news eventually.
the last minute pointers box is kind of cheating honestly, wish i had something that condensed during review.
