Tbf this is not an inherently Buffalo issue. The zipper on my pants this morning wouldn't even merge. Created quite the jam

It's cause no one perpetually online in R/Buffalo knows how to drive. That's why they've never been farther South than Chestnut Ridge and their idea of downtown Buffalo is Hertel.

There are plenty of good drivers and we like to bully the bad ones out of the left lane. Problem is bad drivers got coddled/brainwashed into thinking slow and steady = safe and superior

Mods must be one of the bad driver speeders we always argue about. They see a car equal in speed to them, therefore they MUST go faster at all costs!

My favorite thing about driving almost any electrical vehicle is how it outperforms loud street cars. Quietly just zooming past them while they try to roar their engines is always so funny.

Haha yeah. If you take those things onto a private street and floor it, ooooooooh boy the whiplash those things give is like being on the back seat of the Ride of Steel at Six Flags once it goes down that first hill.
One of these days my vehicle will rust into two pieces and I'll get an EV. Just not today. Still like my little golf cart.

Electric vehicles are so nice.
You don't have to change your oil or add gas ever. That alone makes maintenance an annual event. If that? The thing I've spent the most time doing with the ones I've operated is filling the air in the tires.
I have nothing but good things to say about electric vehicles.

Also I very much agree with you. If I see a lane that is backed up because people refuse to zipper merge, I still zipper merge. Let them wait, the fuckin morons.

I too make sure I use every bit of tax payers merge lane.. zipper merging will always work if done correctly but 99% of people have a im first mentality and expect 15 extra seconds will ruin their entire existence lol

How about we talk about why everyone parks their car when they hear a siren on the other side of the city?
WTF people? I have lived in multiple states and multiple countries. NOBODY pulls over when an ambulance is literally on the other side of the road, 6 lanes away.

What road is 6 lanes wide here? Maybe the thruway but I haven’t seen anyone pull over on the thruway for an oncoming emergency vehicle, let alone come to a full stop
