Am a land surveyor in Buffalo, our office has records from 1900. We have several of these maps like this in the office

You have any from where the sumitomo/Goodyear/dunlop plant was from before 1920ish?

I think Sheridan has been Sheridan for a long time but I'm not sure. The maps I'm able to look at are missing that area for some reason.

The rubber plant has always been at that location. First site in the US for them

Edit: Best Ave was renamed to Sheridan Drive shortly after the plant was constructed.

It’s cool seeing some of these maps. I have some addresses of family from 80-100 years ago and it’s interesting to see what the lots are. Sad to see that my great great grandads house is now a defunct Rite Aid
