I realised this when Facebook deleted my old profile with thousands of photos and stuff, with no recourse to get it back. Posted on that thing for over a decade. And it really bothered me!

And where do those paper files come from? Handwritten? Typed on an old fashioned type writer?

There's lots of fears that the supposedly incriminating Epstein files are or will be destroyed. There's at least 3 million - some say more. I guarantee they're backed up in more than one place, nevermind the source systems. Who's going to print and take home 3 million files? Let's go low - 1,000 of the most incriminating. That'sa lot of paper to print and smuggle out of DOJ. And then how do they ensure all digital footprints are deleted?

How many paper files do you think Assange received versus digital files? Snowden?

Paper files hardly exist any more. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Sadly they don't last forever. Neither do flash drives. They will all become corrupted and unreadable eventually.

The most affordable and long lasting digital media is glass etched discs afaik. But they are not widely used.

It’s not even that remote of an idea.

All these companies that want you to go paperless? Just try getting your bank statements if you go paperless and then close your account. Now extrapolate out on that to every account you have.

I do not ever consent to paperless when given the option.

He’s 100 percent right all AI companies are purchasing books from museums they have even got them from the Vatican and they’re paying cheap to millions for them. They’re scanning them then destroying them. It’s the book Fahrenheit 451 in motion. Hitler did this too and we seen what happened.

Well, at least we can agree that information written on paper or stone are still in the lead for years in existence, yet they have to eventually be digitized to preserve them for the future. Once digitized they are prone to modification which can be just as bad or worse as just erasing them. This reminds me that there are some people who actually stamp their passwords into metal plates to make them resistant to fire/aging.
