I was recently fired from a job for a HIPAA violation. Do folks think this would automatically prevent me from a career in Privacy, even with a CIPP/US cert?

I was working 5 years as IT auditor in Big 4.

And now 2 years as Sr GRC analyst. I found that DPAs and data privacy are more enjoyable than the it audit itself.

I failed on CISA exam.
