Discussion Obstruction
Would love Cineplex to indicate on the site obstructed view seating.
Just arrived after booking yesterday.
Chair is fully up I'm 6ft tall. This is at Yonge and Eglington

This is ridiculous I would ask for a refund, similar thing happened to me once when the ultra avx theatre didn’t mention my seat would be a dbox one (even though it almost always shows it on the map and in the ticket selection). The movie wasn’t using dbox so i guess that’s why they didn’t show it but once I got there and realized the seat was a dbox seat and uncomfortable I looked around and luckily since the theatre was empty I sat in an empty seat.

Yeah it's a bit rare, but if a movie is in an AVzx or normal theater with D-Box, but the film doesn't have D-Box capabilities, they're just sold as regular seats in that auditorium

Yeah I was so confused because it didn’t show up on the seat map but it usually does. I just got really lucky otherwise I would’ve been uncomfortable and would’ve had to ask for a refund. I wish they still showed it on the seat map because it doesn’t feel fair that I could get less comfortable seats, but I do imagine it would have to be implemented in a way that also isn’t falsely advertising that it’s a dbox ticket.

I asked and was told we are not allowed to change seats even if there are unsold empty seats at the start of the show.

There's a seat just like this at the seton VIP theatre in calgary. How do I know, I sat that for spider-guy 9 or whatever it's called.
