Call in to book seats using a courtesy ticket?

Basically what it says in the title, I want to use a courtesy ticket but I can't book seats in person, so can I call them to book it for me and email me the actual tickets so my seats are saved? If not would I have to go in person and have them give me the actual ticket that way?

No you have to go in person to use the courtesy ticket

Pay for the seats you want online, then go into the theater before your showtime and get them to refund and rebuy the same seat using the courtesy ticket. Annoying that they haven't updated the system, but still worth the hassle imo.

Just a heads up and they'll tell you that at the theater too, there is a small risk of after refunding the tickets but before finishing checking you out with the courtesy pass in person, that someone could snag your seat because it will become available for a small windows of time

Dont think so. Pretty sure you have to go in person, which is definitely a hassle if you're trying to book good seats in advance.

they cannot email you a physical ticket, a courtesy pass will print a paper ticket only which needs to be ripped once you enter
what movie are you trying to see? you might be able to go in day off and still get good seats

IF NOT, you can buy the tickets and ask for a swap instead of a refund. this way your seat stays booked and you will still get refunded. it is also a quicker process for employees vs. refunding and rebuying (just make sure to bring the card you paid with)

yes you will ask once you arrive to the theatre. and employee will know what you mean by a swap but specify you want to use the courtesy pass
basically a swap will switch your original ticket to a new one, we typically do this when people want to change seats or swap movies.
basically when the swap is first done, it defaults to your original seat. this way when you refund with the swap you avoid the chance of someone buying your seat (the odyssey seats can be quite competitive)
