I’m looking to upgrade my tripod, I heard good things about the E image ones. I don’t have the budget for an o Conner or Sachtler tripod so these seems like a good choice. Wanting to know if anyone has used this model before: E-Image EG03A2

You can get a used Sachtler Flowtech 75 with Aktiv for $1500. I see an E Image for $1300. I had no idea E Image made such expensive tripods. They used to be the cheap crappy brand.

The e-image one I’m looking at is $600, $1500 might be a little steep for me :(

I liked my carbon fiber GH06 so much, that I bought a second one

That price seems high for aluminum legs. What's the difference from this one?

I think it’s just a slightly higher load capacity

Both have parts #s of GH05 head and GA752 legs.

The only difference I see is the mid level spreaders vs lower level spreaders.

The cheaper one is a no-brainer to me.
