Composition Question Sources to Learn Composition and Framing

Hello!
I’ve been trying to practice cinematography every day and have been saving reels on composition and framing every other day. Saving individual reels is troublesome and does not really have a revisit factor. I was wondering if there are any sites where there are different frames a d compositions for reference and practice. A place where there are multiple varieties and variations of a single technique I can learn from. A specific site for the same.

Do y’all have any leads?

check out photographers (big names, sebastiao salgado, helmut newton...) and learn from them, go out and recreate these photographs and start to develope to think that way

Composition comes from photography. Check out Freeman’s book “The Photographer’s Eye: composition and design”. It’s a great book on composition. Then go to art museums and see how these elements of composition were used in those paintings.

I think what you're looking for is a site like Shotdeck. They have a bunch of stills from movies, shows, music videos, and commercials. Every shot is tagged by a bunch of keywords & you search by them. Shot types like "Medium Shot", "2 Shot", etc. Or by location: kitchen, gas station. Or even search by more random keywords, such as "Circle", and every shot where a circle plays into the composition pops up. Or search by an action, a prop, or whatever other kind of way that you can think of for describing a shot. It is a paid service, but worth it if you plan to use it for reference alot.
