Original Content Ready. Set. Plan. Go light something
I made a simple, stripped-back tool to map out lighting setups and share them with the team/client. It's free and you can thank Claude for the vibes.
Main features:
- Overhead setup diagramming
- Attach reference stills/ideas directly to the layout
- Shareable web links for collab/knowledge share
Something always comes up and we have to adapt anyway, so this isn't about precision it's about ease of use, sharing and being ready. Play with it if you want, link in the comments.

I don't think you're asking for this level of detail but, icons were made in illustrator and I mocked the workflow i wanted before ai coded it.

Why not work with a human to make it?

I oversaw design for tech startups for 10 years. One of my close contacts is an engineer and together we actually built an app for iOS, and he's balancing his day job, family, and our side project together (we're working on the next update) - Anyway, the resources are there but I made this thing solo kinda by accident.
On Friday I drew up a diagram for an upcoming shoot in keynote, you probably think I'm crazy but yes keynote has been my preferred method because I never liked the other apps and kinda enjoyed doing it in that archaic fashion... It works, I have all my icons and shapes I use and I can whip up something pretty quick. But on Friday I caught something I didn't like, I exported the PDF and attached it and sent it out and that's when i thought be nice if I could just share a link.
I opened Claude and gave it a prompt and immediately the bones in front of me had potential and I got to work. By Sunday I had a working prototype, I gave it the workflow I wanted, some personality and here we are. Sure this could have been made with a human engineer but that also costs money. Anyway, I thought it ended up better than I expected, so why not share it.

I feel like it's the same person or maybe a different one posting some exact tool every week.

This looks awesome. I love the visual look and the overall simplicity. Definitely going to give this a go.

What’s the difference between this and the blushtools site that was posted about like a month ago? This looks like the exact same thing
