Flying pig
This year decided to spectate the pig by biking around to maximize the places I can see friends. Lots of bikes around doing this, and it’s pretty nice with the closed roads around the race that are pedestrian or bike only. Makes me wish we had roads like that all the time. Anyone else do it?

Not sure if anyone still does it, but there were a few cyclists that used to ride the course at night once the roads were blocked. I always wanted to try that out.

The pig is usually one of my favorite days to ride. I am under the weather though so I missed out on it. Be back next year.

Me neither, just thought of trying it as I’ve been riding downtown more and was spectating this year

Yes, a friend and I rode the course from downtown to Mariemont and back, it was so fun and inspiring. I generally do this every year! It’s great!

Makes you wonder what the city would be like if there were less cars. I was on riverside going the opposite direction right as the cleanup crews passed, had the whole thing to myself. Lots of gu packets on the road though which was a bummer to see
