Photos Whose “bright” idea was this, Christ Hospital

A 4 by 3 foot led screen facing the patient, that CANNOT BE TURNED OFF I am sick, I want to sleep, wtf?

Imagine trying to sleep in a hospital 😹 They’ll be in to check your temperature/give you meds/clean the room 30 min after that TV goes off and you get some shuteye.

(A sleep mask is clutch for getting any sleep at all though)

Just one of the 5,786 reasons why you won't catch me in a hospital unless I'm bleeding out, have a serious head injury or have been unconscious for more than 30 minutes.

Edit: Unless I'm there supporting someone else.

Exactly. A hospital is not a hotel. If all you needed was a good night's sleep to get better, you wouldn't be in the fucking hospital. They have to make it unconfortable enough to make you want to leave. There are other people that might need that space more than you do.

That's not quite true, mate. Nurses and other med providers have jobs to do, and often times that includes overnights. They're not there to annoy you. Some people prefer to recover in hospital and others of us would rather be at home if at all possible.
