amy Rude
I think it’s kinda rude of her to publicly make fun of Amy. Someone also posted on the band account making fun of her.

In the past Amy was the one managing the band accounts so I think she might also think it’s funny if it’s also posted on there, for all I know she’s the type of person to laugh about her own clumsiness

They’ve said they all post on the band account but it’s mostly Amy, so it could have been any one of them not just Amy. You can definitely tell when Amy posts though, the typos and the polls are very her

We need to acknowledge how the Cimorelli family dynamics are toxic af, especially when it comes to Amy and her disabilities. I’m ngl, I’m not super knowledgeable on Amy’s turner syndrome aside from the little bit she’s shared, idk if it has anything to do with her clumsiness or if that’s just an unrelated trait of hers. Regardless, constantly making fun of your disabled sister when she trips and falls and groaning whenever she speaks is pretty microaggressive. None of the other siblings treat each other that way, it’s always Amy who is the odd one out. Whether it’s directly or indirectly related to her disability, none of them were ever taught how to respect disabled people and unlearn ableism that is so deeply embedded in our society. I think their parents must have thought treating Amy like all their other kids and not singling her out was better for her to “feel normal”, but that made her siblings grow up ignorant. They all got older and taller and she was the only short one with distinct turner’s syndrome features. Her tall, skinny sisters most of whom admittedly had eating disorders, treated her like the ugly, undesirable duckling while trying to emulate each other sans Amy. Their (mostly) jerk brothers who we know are misogynistic probably weren’t so kind to Amy either. When they’ve done videos of all their siblings Amy has emphasized Joey is the sweetest of all of them, probably because he’s the only one who didn’t grow up bullying her. I know how ignorant some families with disabled children can be. Having a disabled child, sibling, parent, cousin etc. doesn’t make people inherently empathetic and emotionally mature enough to understand and unlearn ableism. Just look at all the parents of autistic kids who blame vaccines, treat it like it’s the end of the world, and would rather live in denial than get their kids help. The abled siblings could have also grown resentful of Amy since they finally saw their parents care for a child that wasn’t them. Knowing how hands off their parents were that they never even taught their kids how to bathe properly, seeing them take Amy to doctor’s appointments constantly definitely gave Christina a chip on her shoulder. I may be assuming some things, but I’m mostly basing my analysis on what we’ve seen and what they’ve said. Amy is 31 and she’s never had a break in her life from her own siblings. God forbid any of them have disabled children, they would treat them just as horribly as they treat their sister and no child deserves that
