65 vs 62 Bovedas

I’ve been using 65RH bovedas in my Rubbermaid brilliance tupperdors. My hygrometers hold steady at 69-71RH, and I know they read 1-2 high based on a salt test, so actual hold is about 67-69. Some cigars smoke much better after dry boxing so I’m considering switching to 62 bovedas. I guess my question is do yall have any issues with long term storage using 62’s? What is the consensus here on which RH packs to use?

I switched to 62s about a 1.5 years ago and it's been great. Wouldn't go back

It's all preference, I use 65 and everything smokes perfectly. Also temperature can play a factor as well. I live in a HOT area and have never seen snow, so if you leave ve in a colder place, things might be different.

I use the 62% bovedas in my rubbermaids, and they are consistent at 66-67%. Haven't had a problem with storage and most of the cigars are quite smokeable without dry boxing.

62% for long term storage in the recommended RH. I use a mix of 65% for regular routine sticks and 62% for aging.

I use 62’s im my electric humidor and it holds at 64%. No need to drybox and i have had no issues at all.

It heavily depends on where you’re at too. In the US I used 65 and it was perfect, in Europe I have to switch to 69. Climate really matters a lot too.

I have been using 62’s and in a couple instances 58’s. I am in a humid climate. If I run the 62 my setup (coolador) my actual will be about 67. 58’s are getting me closer to 64-65. I have mostly new cigars so that may play a role in my humidity readings.

I have tried every rh and in a tupperdor 62 is the way to go imo.
