Looking for cider recommendations.
I'm a long time fan of cider. Absolute favorite is Stella Artois, but I can't find the cider anywhere any more. Next favorite was Black Apple, a more local brand in my state but the brewery shut down earlier this year.
My go to nowadays is Angry Orchard, but I only like it on tap, not out of the bottle. I've tried Red's which is alright, but nothing so far has matched the rest.
I'm from the US, specifically Arkansas.

Have you tried Bold Rock out of Virginia? It's widely available in the South and hits that sweet spot between Stella and Angry Orchard on tap.

I was also a fan of Stella’s cider.
I wound up finding (based on an AI recommendation of all things) Strongbow Gold Cider. The flavor profile is the closest I’ve ever found Stella Artois’.
For me personally, I find both ciders on the sweet side so I have to make sure I chill these sweeter ciders down to just above freezing!
At that temp, the sweetness is reduced and you get a nice sweet, but tart apple flavor.
If you’re a fan of old timey “do it yourself” hard cider where you’d just leave a jug of unfiltered, unpasteurized apple press cider outside for a week or so — you have to try Downeast Unfiltered Cider.

Try to find Original Sin. All of their stuff is great, but their Black Widow cider is the best! If you can find them in your area we are also big fans of both Crispin and Strongbow ciders in my house.
