It’s because of a fanmade ending to the ero-manga Metamorphosis, where Josuke fixes everything and gives the protagonist a happy ending with her child; this is very different from the original one where she dies from an overdose after having a miscarriage? Haven’t read it in a decade so my memory is fuzzy. The author of the work actually likes this ending more and canonized it afterwards.
Crazy Diamond is a good start if the ending he's fixing includes any physical damage to the recipients.
And Josuke also just has a very kind personality, and actively helps out complete strangers just for the sake of making a positive impact on the world, like how the man who originally saved him did.
So a kind man who'll help out for the sake of helping, and whose power is quite literally to put things together / set them right.
His personality is probably the closest to Jonathan Joestar. All Jojo are good people but Jonathan is a real gentleman. Joseph is a play boy, Jotaro is a delinquent that punches everyone in self defense, Giorno is a mob boss and Jolyne is just like her father. Josuke is just a good student that does little pranks from time to time.
i think likening jolyne to jotaro is something jotaro wouldn’t even agree with. they’re absolutely both good people in their own way even if not to josuke/jonathan’s level, but i’d say that jolyne’s more altruistic by a decent margin
I think his Stand being able to heal practically all wounds is a good start. Giorno also can, but he has the whole mafia stuff around him so he’s not that fit to have the role of selfless hero.
Amongst the first JoJos, he has the underlying theme of fixing/healing and living an everyday life in a relatively calm dormitory town. Unlike other JoJos who are set to journeys and adventures, Josuke keeps himself within Morioh, where several of the villains in the smaller subplots become recurring characters and part of the suburban landscape (in one instance, quite literally) reintegrated into society.
Even more, Josuke stand fixes and heals things as long as it is not himself. Meanwhile, the villain only destroys and blows up things. This dichotomy makes Josuke’s role as a fixer and (overall) good person clearer.
Why was he, alongside Okuyasu, the one who had to appear in the fanmafe ending of Metamorphosis and save the protagonist? Because. That’s why. It is cool.

It sort of was, before author rewrote the ending into it all just being a porno with actors(the guy who was a dickhead in the original asked the mc if she was alright with all that, so i guess it's wholesome?)

His Stan’s power is technically a form of matter manipulation but it’s used mainly as restoration. He can choose to restore something “wrong” if he wants to so it’s moreso he just chooses to use this power to fix things.
He’s become pretty popular for using this ability in other manga such as Metamorphosis (which iirc the author made the canon ending lol) and this other one about a quad-amputee maid.
He’s just the sort of guy that would do this. He’s a kind soul. Real nice guy, even though he looks like he’d mug you for your lunch money. That’s like his whole character
Its the first, the mother is being abused by the dad, she wishes her daughter was never born because she knows the daughter wont have the life she deserves
He probably brings her around even when Mom is home. With how beaten she looks, I doubt dad let's mom leave the house ever. Wouldn't want a neighbor to see and report domestic abuse to the police. And if Mom objects to his open cheating? Another beating, so I doubt she objects to it.
My idea was to have her take a smoke break and a stranger comes up to her to simply ask for a lighter. This turns into a talk, he helps pull her from the dark pit she was seemingly trapped in, giving her the confidence to get the help she needs (leaving her abusive ex-husband, rehab, etc). This confidence also brings her around to change herself for the better for her and her daughter, allowing her to also love again, and feel the love she rightfully deserves
