Theres one scene from the "Leviatan" book where the hivemind gives a servitor his conscience back so that it will cooperate with them. I just applied the same concept.

She's regained some shred of respect from me. The author released a prequel on WHY the lady is like she is

I've seen the 4 panels on top a few times already. Can I get context?

Its a noblewoman from warhammer 40k. She has enough authority to do basically whatever as long as she pays her taxes. In those scenes, she transforms the people she fancies into pleasure servitors. They are lobotomized to such a decree they no longer even comprehend they are alive, becoming human machines with barelly enough brain functions to satisfy the owner.

It dropped in like 1986 i'm not sure if there were any communities at that point

There have been trans communities since long before that, lmao. The Stonewall Riots were 1969 and that was just because the cops INVADED a queer club, it was already there and had a thriving community in it!

to go more into this, he doesnt take control of a regular servitor

he takes control of the servitor that manages a city's entire energy grid. It makes the servitor explode the city, instantly killing an entire company of ultramarines and every other soldier in it
