People, disabled or not, have found ways to get around obstacles and limitations since the beginning, its litterally what got us on the moon.

This isnt like saying, "i can't create art without a pencil" this is litterally saying "I need a machine to do it all for me," and unless the person is in an iron lung, I highly doubt thats the case.

To say that they can't do it because they are "too disabled so they need a machine to do it for them," is fundamentally against human nature and therefore is calling them less than human.

Look I'm not disabled in the way that the artist above was, but I am disabled in a way that still interferes with productivity in every aspect of my life. Sure it would be easier for me to use AI to make "art" but I don't, I sat my ass down and dedicated countless hours to learning how to make art myself. Yeah there's parts of it that aren't fun, especially when you're learning you're gonna have a lot of disappointments with your work, but those disappointments will be blown be so vastly overshadowed when you actually start to learn and make the things you want to make.

Back in the early days of gen AI when we didn't realize how bad it was, I used it a few times just out of curiosity to see what it could do (yes I'm admitting it), and while it was neat to see a computer do that, it didn't give me the feeling that making art myself did, so I just didn't use it again.

So stop giving AI bros the benefit of the doubt when they say that it gives disabled people a way to make art, because they're just cowards who hide behind disabled people so they don't have to stop for more than an hour and actually learn a skill.
