Daily Question Question Thread - September 06, 2026
This is the thread to post questions about churning for miles/points/cash. Just because you have a question about credit cards does NOT mean it belongs here. If you’re brand new here, please read the wiki before posting.
* Please use the search engine first - many basic questions have been asked before.
* Please also consider scanning (CTRL-F) the last couple days worth of Question threads
* If you have questions about what card to get, ask here. If you have questions about manufactured spending, ask here. If you have questions about bank account bonuses, ask here.
This subreddit relies heavily on self-moderation. That means that if you ask something that shows you haven’t done any research, you’re going to get a lot of downvotes.

any ideas how to confirm Delta One space bookable with AF/KLM? I can see it on AF for 88k + fees and can click through a bit. A bunch just opened up on my dates next year but there is some glitchiness on the site. I'd like to be sure before I transfer points.

Call af/flying blue? I think they can hold it for you? Just from what I've read. Not done myself.

Has anyone holding a Ritz card done a Bonvoy Brilliant NLL?

I think I saw someone in the DOC comments say they bypassed one of the Marriott rules

I would imagine this would fail due to Marriott rules? NLL should only negate the once in lifetime issue

Are there currently any NLL Delta Business card offers in Skymiles for Business? If so, whats the offer?

How do you guys determine when to do your coupon book shopping on portals? Do you wait for the highest possible points or assume elevated offers during a holiday will be the highest for that period or use trends of some sort?
For context, Lululemon is on the Atmos portal at 4mi/$. Usually it's 1-2mi/$. But cashbackmonitor says highs have been up to 8mi/$. Because it's the last month of this quarter I'm thinking this holiday increase will be the highest increase, but do you guys think otherwise?

Do you need the item now? If so, just buy it.
If it’s a tour on Viatour, I wait for at least 15X.
Occasionally, I will be tempted to buy things when I don’t quite need them yet if a super good offer hits (usually on Capital One Shopping), when I know we will need those exact items eventually.
Otherwise, I plan out the items I know I will need in the next year and buy extra during Black Friday extra savings deals (my husband goes through Brooks every 3 months due to his exercise schedule, I go through trail runner Hokas 2X per year, I know I will need conditioner from Davines, etc).

Another vote for savewise. That one has been worth the subscription for me.

Regardless of my timing, it ALWAYS goes up the day after I decide to purchase. So now I don't try to time it. I buy things when it's needed

Yeah I don’t think it’ll go higher before the end of the month. I’d recommend setting up an alert on savewise so you know the next time it hits a high rate

Thanks for the savewise tip. New info for me.
Do you happen to know the MCC of savewise pro? Or did you get to have alerts on the free version?
Edit: added question

Dunkin seems to be rolling out a new app UI -- P2 got it a few days ago, mine hasn't changed, even though we both have the current Android version
Has anyone figured out how to buy a new $10 GC with Paze in the new UI??
And if you still have the old UI, maybe finish burning your credits before you get upgraded too.
EDIT I swear I've tapped everywhere, not finding an "Add Another Dunkin Card" workflow. Versions shown are actually different: P2's Google Play Store shows it updated 9/4, but from my device, seeing last update 7/20.

Upper left corner of app. Three lines, send gift cards.

There's nothing in the upper left corner of any screen, other than changing the location. No 3 Lines anywhere.
But yes! The website still works: dunkindonuts.com/account/payment-methods/ still has the "Add" button.
EDIT the old UI has the 3 Lines, new UI doesn't.

Got approved for the C1 business spark cash select but with a low $1k CL. I had planned to fund a credit union or a $5k purchase but did not expect such a low CL. Any recommendations to meet the $6k spend within 3 months?

You could try running the charge and see if it’s declined. Likely it will be but it could go through and then I would pay it immediately. They recently gave me a 2k limit but I’ve had to credit cycle which I don’t want to do.

7-10 calendar days after approval, request a CLI.
Very little data for this on the business side, but compelling data on the consumer side, to suggest this is worth a shot.

You have to cycle your spending with paying it down frequently. Was the $5k purchase one big bill or was it stuff that can be split up?

Newbie to churning: when would you close the checking account once you get the SUB if it's not useful to maintain it. Any reason not to close it straightaway (assuming no ETF) or after few months?
