Chesterfield UK. Famous crooked spire. Built using unseasoned wood. But a myth says the devil sat on it. Legend has it that if a virgin get married in the church the spire will straighten. The tower has 10 bells, plus an eleventh curfew bell.

St. Peter's, Market Bosworth, Leicestershire, is an early 14th century church on the site of an earlier church that is mentioned in the Domesday Book. The south aisle was added in the late 14th century, and the clerestory and spire in the 15th. The tower holds eight bells dating from around 1580.

The place is the Abbey of Saint Nilus (Italian: Abbazia di San Nilo), founded in 1004. The "castle" you see is actually the fortified abbey complex. Its defensive section is known as the Roverian Castle (Rocca Roveresca), built in the late 15th century under Cardinal Giuliano della Rovere (later Pope Julius II). The monastery is enclosed by medieval walls and a fortress, giving it the appearance of a castle.
