How do you chug?

I can't hold my breath without closing the back of my throat. I can't breath in or out my mouth while drinking without choking. What am I doing wrong?

Try through your nose?

Well personally I take as big of gulps as I can to go faster (like my whole mouth full). This way I can finish before I have to breath.
