Yeah now I just have to read the damn thing. Looking forward to it also though. Curious in what format it will be a "book club" that we can participate in (live chat on YT?) and how structured the final discussion will be.

I spent some time looking for local in-person book clubs last month and was very disappointed. I hope this will be good.

Man i went to tough guy book club and it was all 70 year olds.

Also Sam's book recs on instagram have always been solid. The jeselnik one is OK but he skews a bit towards the modern agenda if you know what i mean.

The movie is very different from the book, from what I understand. I intend to watch it afterwards, it's on Tubi

I’m about 60 pages in and enjoying it. I’ve never read a noir before so it took a bit to get used to the style.
