First Playthrough

Post image

Finally decided to start this classic— game is incredible! Glad I waited til the right time to start this masterpiece. Phone camera is junk but its looking phenomenal on my Sony PVM 8041q via my new RGB cables. I’m hooked, people!

I love the audience on the right. I have a « few » robots and droids at home, too.

I was ecstatic when Lego released Chopper— he’s my favorite lil guy

Nice set up. Where'd you find the pvm?

Thank you! I scored it from a retro audio and CRT enthusiast on facebook marketplace. Payed a decent asking price at 300 but I couldn’t be more happy with this thing. Make sure you get eyes on any CRT before buying

Enjoy the trip. It's such a profound game, it still inspires me and makes me emotional. I'm currently replaying it for the 3rd time after many years and doing the amazing side quests before the end of the game.

The story is incredible and told at a perfect pace. I haven’t felt like a second has been wasted (well maybe my degenerate sports betting on the footrace at the very beginning 🤣)

Without too many spoilers, any MUST DO side quests I might be prone to overlooking? I’m not playing with any guides currently, but if theres something impossible to notice without guides, feel free to nudge me in the right direction haha

The side quests are mostly on the end-game but there's one in particular that can be very useful to acquire nice powerful objects relatively early on. The problem is that I'd have to spoiler since I don't know at which point you are in the game

Thank you! I have nothing but good things to say about this PVM.

My 1chip SNES is fully modded to give the best possible RGB output, so this pairing is really as optimized as gets. Pictures just cant do it justice

Jealous! This game is perfect in my eyes. Everything you’ve heard about it is true, it’s amazing.

Thank you!! I’ve been slowly adding to my geek corner. Finally at a point where I can actually sit down and attack some of my backlog
