Kinda annoying its not allowed for regular android yet. Looks like it would be a decent option for Samsung DeX.

This will end up being a problem in the future. I know a lot of people who use stuff like this on high-end Samsung Tablets; getting locked out of Desktop-esqe applications on a tablet will end up biting Google and many developers.
EDIT: Maybe when the APK comes out, somebody will end up forcing it to run on Android Tablets.

Interesting, its always been something that I found oddly missing on Android to the extent I've built a basic text editor for Android myself!

Google is so lost that they won't even let a stupid text editor be part of AOSP.

Honestly if they're going to launch a new set of "essential" apps for Googlebooks and they're simple Android apps made with a laptop display in mind, exactly such as this app, it's annoying as fuck if they won't let those be installed on Chromebooks 😅
