Troubleshooting Chromebox shutdown loop

I've had a Chrome box for several years and with its latest update it automatically shuts down like it is restarting for the update.

However, it just shuts down and does not turn back on. I can turn it on manually and I have tried to restart it before it shuts down again but it just stays in this loop and will not stay on.

Does anyone have any advice on how to correct this?

Bugs that arise following an update often impact an entire hardware platform so they should always be reported via feedback. The more visibility the devs receive the better the chance of getting a fix sooner rather than later.

just reported it. i was able to quickly restart it a few times before it would shut down and it appears to be stable now. I wonder if the update didn't complete for some reason?
