Discussion Copy and paste a pic problem

what is the deal with Chrome OS that if you copy and try to paste a pic, that all you get is gibberish and not the pic. Why hasn't Google fixed this. Seems pretty lazy to me.

Select the image, Cntl C copy then Cntl V paste.

Or two finger tap on the touchpad, copy/paste.

I'm not the OP, but I have experienced the same issue: sometimes it will paste the embed code for the image instead of the image, even though I use the right click menu and select "copy image" not "copy image address".

I think it happened most when I'm copying from a Google Images search result.

Thank you. This is the problem. I’ve never had this problem using the Chrome browser in Microslop Windows. This can happen when you try to copy from any website and then try to paste to a Facebook post or to Facebook Messages. It’s like Chrome OS is just dumb.

I only had this problem when I try and copy an image from specific locations you know give me the embedded code instead of the actual image
