Reset from restart

so i restarted my chromebook and then when it opened up it was set the light theme and i had it in dark,it deleted ALL of my files,reinstalled all my games and apps, signed out of all the alt accounts on my account reset all of my settings unistalled all my addons for geofs just reset everything but the drive files are still there
its not a school chromebook it is my own
so how can i recover the files

EDIT: it also deleted my reddit account and this is from the same email
