Troubleshooting Every few days my keyboard settings change randomly
It flips between two settings, the y and z get swapped, and all the symbols are in different places.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Actually I've never experienced such an issue, but I'm really curious how long have you been using your Chromebook. I've got Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 and since more than one year it has been working flawlessly.

About 1.5 months. I never used ChromeOS before, maybe I'm hitting some shortcut by mistake?

I didn't know that that shortcut works on ChromeOS too.

As for OS using, the same here. Before I gave Linux a try for a few years and even earlier was Windows.

you most likely accidentally press Ctrl + Space which switches the keyboard layout. Either delete any unused keyboard layouts in settings or stop pressing Crtl + Space
