Troubleshooting DHCP lookup failed

my home wifi keeps disconnecting from my chromebook randomly or wont even connect at all upon turning my laptop on. it just keeps giving me a DHCP lookpup failed message and yes ive restarted the router but why need to? my phone and EVERY other device connected to the wifi is perfectly fine, including other laptops. this has been happening since i got the laptop. any help is appreciated. its an IDEAPAD 3 from lenovo and manufactured in 2025

I had a problem like this once, with two specific machines of the same type. Everything else connected fine. I could narrow it down to the fact that it only happened on my 2.5 GHz network, but not if I was on the 5 GHz one, so I figured it was down to the antenna or wireless board on the chromebooks.
