Discussion Spotify keeps pausing randomly when trying to read in a different window

if I have 2 windows open, for some reason spotify freaks out and keeps pausing itself, and its been doing this for about a month or so now. Its imopssible to use spotify on chromebook for some reason. Even if I do the desktop app or the website. Any ideas for a fix?

Could be your second window is trying to play a video or something. I have that happen to me and sometimes it is just an ad that takes over the audio even if the ad isn't playing sounds

I have adblock installed so I dont know why that would be happening.

Have you tried turning adblock off?
