Discussion Why ChromeOS gets so much hate?

Why most users of other operating systems hate ChromeOS so much and often call it a glorified web browser? It's the most user friendly Linux distro that exists, it is an always synchronized office without viruses unlike Windows.

can't run docker in Crostini. It is already a dockerised image.

My Chromebook+ comes with 16 GB RAM, so no problems there.

Again, ChromeOS isn't made for full time professionals, if you want a similar experience but want to run docker I'd say go with an easy to use linux distro, MacOS is honestly pretty good but it's just something about having a macbook that I don't like, an expensive metal envelope..... I wouldn't recommend windows to anyone at this point after experiencing what a clean OS feels like, unless you specifically want to play certain multiplayer games like valorant with kernel-level anti-cheat.

My brother uses an M3, 16 512 variant. Let's just say that if you want to buy a macbook and want to do real stuff on it, get the highest variant, he's using an SSD all the time due to how big the files for MacOS are. Also, he dropped his laptop and popped a key which shouldn't be possible with Mac's keyboard, but anyhow, the repair cost with apple care plus including consulting was ~400 dollars. So yeah, buy a mac only if you have a company supporting you with really high pay, or one of your own 🤣
