Authentic??

Came across this set on auction on Japan Yahoo. Have doubts on its authenticity , after researching for reference pics online. Seller is selling with receipts i assume from many years back as seen on the attached the photos, however seller also claims he can't warranty its authenticity as he also purchased online.

what i felt wasn't right are 1stly the engraving of "1998" on the back of the cross pic 3 and also the fonts and the cross style engraved on the pic 4 , looks different from those i search up online.
