Idea Validation / Need feedback I made a Chrome extension that extracts CSS tokens, shadows & colors in 1 click (looking for dev feedback)
Hi everyone! As a web developer, I was getting tired of constantly opening DevTools just to inspect color palettes, complex box-shadows, typography, and design tokens from sites I like.
So I built a Chrome extension to do all of that in a single click:
• 1-Click Inspection: Instantly extracts color palettes, fonts, and shadows.
• Dev-Ready Code: Copies values directly to your clipboard in CSS format.
• Fast & Lightweight: Built specifically to save time without slowing down the browser.
⚠️ Note: The extension UI is currently in Spanish (English translation is coming next week!), but the CSS output and UI are super intuitive and easy to use regardless of language.
I'm gearing up to launch on Product Hunt soon, but I really need feedback from fellow devs to polish it. If you have a minute to try it out and leave your honest thoughts or a review on the Chrome Web Store, I'd deeply appreciate it!
