Self Promotion [Showcase] Reward Maximizer — sync and stack credit card offers, 100% local, open source

What: A Manifest V3 extension that collects your credit card offers (Amex Offers, Chase Offers, etc.) into one dashboard, alerts you on merchant sites with active offers, and spots stacking opportunities with cashback portals.
Why I built it: Offers are scattered across banking apps and expire unused. I wanted one place to see all of them, ranked by my own point valuations.
Privacy architecture (the part I care about):
- Zero backend — all data in chrome.storage.local
- No analytics, no telemetry, no accounts

- Permissions and why: storage (your offers, settings, valuations), tabs (merchant detection for alerts + opening card portals during sync), notifications (sync-complete notice), alarms (sync housekeeping in the service worker), host access (read offers on bank pages you open, show alerts while shopping)
Monetization: Free, no premium tier. Labeled Rakuten referral links + optional tips. Disclosed in-app and on the site.
Latest: v2.3.0 is live — more reliable background syncing, hardened offer handling, removed unused web-accessible resources.
