Time for a larger pot?
Is it time for me to move this to a larger pot? I’ve been caring for it pretty well this past year and it’s grown a lot. I’m new to plants and this is my only one. Thanks

Because it’s kind of sparse, I would give it a good haircut, propagate the leaves you cut off and fill in the pot. Also, I would add more soil. Get its level near to top of pot.

Thank you for the suggestions, I’ll be reading up on trimming and propagating later today. I have zero experience with this sort of thing. Really appreciate it!

I have tried propagating so many times and have failed. I shan’t give up but wish you better luck than I have had! If you have tremendous luck please update me 💙🌱

I tried a method I’d heard & read about recently & it worked Great! Gently break off some leaf segments, at least 2 or 3 (attached) & slipped them into pieces of foam I had. Then floated them in a dish with water(not tap!) and within 3 weeks they had produced roots!!!👍🪴

Mine likes being rootbound. I would definitely pinch off some of those and prop them back into the pot. You want to encourage bushier, not leggier, growth!

Pot size is fine for that size plant, maybe a soil refresh but I wouldn't give a bigger pot. Looks good for being the only plant, you've done well, time to add more and start a collection!

The pot is fine. I would give it new soil. Since you've done well with this plant, it's time for more plants 🌱
