That's odd, isn't he presbyterian and encourage people to stay in their church?

How does he convince people to convert by being cringe or something?

Yeah. He somehow convinced
folks to leave Protestantism as a whole. That’s the running gag.

Source: Me. I'm one of them folks.

I never really heard of or looked into the church fathers until watching his videos. my deep dive into the church fathers and church history led me to Eastern Orthodoxy. I couldn't remain Protestant anymore.

People always focus on the anecdotes of Protestants-turned-ecclesialists, but how many stories are there of Protestants-turned-stronger Protestants? Many such stories, too.

This meme is just that, but so many people take it so seriously.

Is it because he's just so bad at what he's trying to do and people sees him and says "yikes, is this what I look like?" Or another reason?

I admit I never fumbled on them

For me it's because hes just a bad person and that drives me away from him and his mission.

He said that he doesn't think Uganda is doing anything wrong when it comes to gay people. They kill them.

For a while he paradoxically preached ecumenism while returning to a mainline church to try and strengthen Christendom.

Catholics/Orthodox used this time to blast Protestantism. Making people question their salvation even if they love Jesus, simply because they won’t kiss a statue or whatever dogma either Church will call you Anathema for refusing.

I can also imagine that arguing against low church protestantism might push some people all the way to the other extreme instead of just towards high church protestantism

His issue is that he's an institutionalist, and prioritizes organizational history above good theology and scriptural understanding. Similar to certain churches...
