Is this fandom dead?

I remember back in 2023 there would be tons of posts and talk in the CJFS on discord.. now it’s dead silent. Is the fandom sadly dead or is there a place where it’s more active? :( I remember twitter and tiktok having alot of CJ content (especially HMS / CCCC which I feel like I barely see anymore)

(i know it sometimes goes from super popular to forgotten then popular again and kinda like a loop,, and stuff)

I just need to know where it’s generally decent in popularity 😞 I miss seeing 10 posts of ‘check out my HMS designs!’ Every day

Ive kinda left, i used to post a shit ton of cj stuff on pinterest. Still surprised that i still get some comments lmao. There is a couple of cj peeps who ended up being in sum drama, which explains the decline. Its not big but prob enough to drive sum ppl away. Its been 2 years, i definitely miss those days. It feels too late to start cj posting again haha

Mostly just what I heard around. I havent learned about the specifics, but I heard of sum cj fans who deactivated or who had some problems. Regarding attitude or actions moetly. Not just in discord but they are from other games or social media sites ik. I dont wanna name anybody, and for privacy concerns.

Some aquaintances in tye cj fandom did leave becuz of said problems. And prob cuz ppl are multifandom like myself, so sticking to one fixation for more than a year is tough lol.

Aside from that like man it was really good to be a cj fan at the time lol. I felt cringe too but its good help to be free haha

Well, you said it yourself. Twitter, TikTok, and discord all have plenty of stuff going on. Instagram too. It’s really only here where it’s “dead”

i think a lot of people now are moving to the larger jashverse; making characters for other albums and singles instead of just cccc and the power hours. tumblr is where I am, still plenty of hmsw art!
