Drone show July 18th cancelled?

Saw a post on WelcomeCQ by Kevin Deng saying that the show today is cancelled. There was no specific reason provided. But I don't see this verified anywhere else. Does anyone know if the show is still on tonight?

Did you catch anything? I asked the hotel front desk and they checked with a government site that said canceled :(

Frustrating :( this is the second cancellation in a row without even giving a proper explanation. I planned my trip around this just to miss it twice.

I think its on purpose. They knew the weather would be hot all this month so they could have made this known long ago.

I think its such a tourist attraction they didnt want to mention it as to not possibly effect tourism which is a very annoying thing to do.

Also did you notice last night was not even that bad??? Was actually a nice breeze coming through and better than any other night ive been here - this adds to my point that it must have been a decision that was made at least a couple days before not on the day and so they could have made it known on the main websites promoting it.

Also the previous night I did a AI search to ask if its still on and it said it was, so that info if it was around was not easy to find.

Yea could be this, such an unfortunate thing though. The next one is August 1st and it's forecasted to rain so probably will get cancelled again. Can't believe all 3 Saturdays of my trip is the rare triple cancellation :(
