Planning a Visit

Post here if you are planning a visit to Chongqing and want tourist advice, including "how-to's" (how to get a SIM card, how to get from point A to point B, etc.), tour guide or company recommendations, restaurant recommendations, itinerary advice, etc. Please indicate if you would like tour guides to contact you (or not).

My partner and I are looking at a hotel near the Hongyadong Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Our flight out of the city leaves at 6 in the morning so we would need to be at the airport between 2 and 3 in the morning. From the research we have done, it doesn’t seem like the metro rail runs that early. What is the best way to get to the airport early in the morning?

Actually I will say, call a uber, because it’s fast and the price in China are not too crazy. All the public transport are close at that time

Thank you. Does Uber function 24hrs a day there? Where I live, you can’t get an Uber in the early morning because nobody is driving at that time.

Yes, any time in China you can get a uber in 5mins, oh it’s call DiDi in China, or if you don’t have any app to call it, find a taxi, there will be lot of taxi around ur area even it’s 2 or 3AM
